TobiasCo-Founder and Managing Director of EVUPRE
Tobias put his vision of rowing gloves into practice while still a national team rower. The rest is history. Tobias studied in London and Lund (Sweden) and lived in Copenhagen for nine years, where he developed a passion for Nordic design. As an enthusiastic rower and sailor, he knows how to protect himself from wind and understands what rowers need.
MartinCo-Founder and Managing Director of EVUPRE
Martin was the first tester of the rowing gloves as part of the national team and has been in a boat with Tobias ever since. Martin has a PhD in business and ten years of experience as a management consultant and is therefore taking care of all commercial topics. As a true Viennese, he is closely connected to Alte Donau, even though his job and studies have taken him to Hong Kong, Singapore or San Francisco.
FlorianEnthusiastic product developer and designer
Florian developed a passion for rowing rather late in his life, but design is in his blood. At EVUPRE he can combine both and is responsible for the Essentials and Pro collections. Florian has given many rowing clubs a new robe. He has won numerous awards for his work; Florian rows in Ottensheim near Linz or in Vienna.
Thomas PDesigner by conviction with an eye for detail
Thomas is our man for CLUBS by EVUPRE and is responsible for equipping clubs and national teams with contemporary rowing apparel. His combination of Japanese tradition with a modern design for the 2020 Olympic team in Tokyo has impressed – and may even have spurred top rower Magdalena Lobnig on her way to a medal.
TimDesigner and rowing veteran
Tim is a long-time friend who has celebrated numerous successes as a rowing coach. One thing he can do even better than coaching rowers is to give EVUPRE the right style. Tim has interpreted the rowing gloves in a modern way and designed the Tampere collection… and with his talent there is still a lot to come.
KlaraHead of media and promotional activities
SilkeMaster of words
Silke always has the right words at the fingertip and is therefore key in driving marketing and communication forward at high stroke rates. Those who receive mail from Silke in the form of our newsletters can consider themselves lucky. Silke lives in Berlin and never misses an opportunity to top her rowing kilometres on the Brandenburg lakes or the Spree.
BernhardWebmaster and online guru
Bernhard makes sure that the website, the shop and everything around it work perfectly. As a loyal companion, Bernhard also has deep insights into the company’s development and is always an asset as a source of ideas for innovations. Bernhard knows rowing as a quiet observer from his racing bike when he cycles up and down Neue Donau.
JuliusPhotographer and aesthete
For years we have been relying on Julius’ talent to set the scene for EVUPRE with pictures and video. As a boat mate and a former national team rower, he knows Austrian lakes and rivers inside out and how to find the perfect photo spot. Julius comes from the beautiful Wachau region – well, in paradise the passion for photography thrives!
Johanna is not only an experienced rower and coach who likes to spend her free time in one of the most beautiful rowing clubs in Vienna. She is also the one who helps our customers with questions and problems. And not only competently and pragmatically, but also with a smile. Johanna is also happy to help with questions about rowing technique, sports science or nutrition, if you ask her nicely.
Current and former professional rowers help us with the selection of fabrics, the right cuts and the testing of new products. Our most important advisors are Bernhard Sieber, Julia Hanisch, Julian Schöberl, Laura Arndofer, Magdalena Lobnig and Rudolf and Ferdinand Querfeld.
