PRO VEST TAMPERE WOMEN

The ideal rowing vest takes particular account of freedom of movement, breathability and the often-changing conditions on the water. From the wide stroke to the finish, the whole body is in action and should under no circumstances be restricted by clothing. That is why, with our top-of-the-range women’s rowing clothing – featuring a close-fitting cut and freedom of movement at the shoulders – we place particular emphasis on ensuring that it provides optimal support for rowing. FEATURES AND DETAILS

The Pro Vest Tampere Women is a wonderfully lightweight vest, just as you’d expect from modern sportswear, designed according to the ‘layering’ principle: it’s better to wear several light layers than one that’s too thick and heavy. The Pro Vest Tampere Women offers excellent protection against wind and rain: water simply beads up and rolls off the outer fabric. A 25 cm zip makes it easy to put on and take off. A small zipped pocket on the back provides storage space for a mobile phone or energy bar.

On the outside, the very lightweight (90 g/m²) fabric, made from 100 per cent polyester, offers all the properties you need in all weathers: it is abrasion-resistant, windproof and waterproof, yet still lightweight and extremely stretchy. On the inside, a mesh made from 95 % polyester and 5 % (83 g/m²) ensures a comfortable fit.

DESIGN

Our Pro Vest Tampere Women: Back to the 90s! In 1995, the World Rowing Championships took place in Tampere, Finland. Fittingly: colours, colours, colours! The Pro Tampere collection features light blue and dark blue, with purple and burgundy accents and a techno-style band around the lower chest. There’s plenty of room for asymmetrical designs, and the EVUPRE logo adorns the side panels.

FIT

The Pro Vest Tampere Women has a close-fitting cut, as is typical for top layers worn whilst rowing. The back is slightly longer than the front to ensure that the lower back remains protected even when leaning forward.
