Get the Catch: We offer the ideal rowing gloves for training, racing, recreational rowing, coastal rowing or tours. Rowing is physically demanding. This is especially evident in a rower’s unique trademark: rough, cracked skin and blisters on the palm of the hand. While sometimes this may be shown off with pride, this can become a painful nuisance whilst rowing. For occasions like these, over the past 10 years we have created ergonomically shaped and hard-wearing rowing gloves, under the name of ROWTEX.

Features and Details

LP+ stands for Light Protection plus Cold Protection – an ideal, cosy glove for rowers that offers maximum protection against wind and cold. The glove is pre-curved and therefore fits perfectly to the round shape of the handle. The material on the palm does not crease, which could cause blisters. A durable Clarino fabric on the palm offers ideal protection with just one layer. This thin but strong layer allows maximum feel for the handle and therefore full control over the oars and the boat. Despite its virtually indestructible properties, the Clarino fabric is very soft and comfortable to wear.

The neoprene wrist cuff with Velcro fastening allows for quick and effortless adjustment to any wearers size. A combination of a mesh material on the back of the hand and small ventilation holes on the palm, guarantee good air circulation and sweat evaporation.

Design

The LP+ comes in ice blue, very simple, very neutral, to go with any outfit. A proper piece of equipment for rowing! As a design feature, the LP gloves also feature red and green for port and starboard.

Fit

To meet differing requirements, we have developed various models of ROWTEX rowing gloves. All models offer a tight fit, with no folds or creases creating pressure points. The pre-curved finger position optimises the perfect hand position for effective blade placement.
