National teams swear by EVUPRE rowing gear
When it comes down to hundredths of a second, every detail counts—right down to the gear. We couldn’t be prouder that several national teams now take to the starting line wearing EVUPRE. In this post, we’re taking you on a journey through our partnerships with these national teams: from the historic bronze medal in Tokyo and the Olympic Games in Paris, all the way to our newest partners from Hungary and Estonia. And, of course, we’ll share the stories behind each of the unique designs.

Team Austria: Our First National Team Partner
Tokyo 2021: A Sensational Start
Unsurprisingly, our first national team was Austria. At the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, Austrian crews took to the starting line in our rowing gear for the very first time. And the partnership couldn’t have gotten off to a better start: Magdalena Lobnig rowed her way to a historic bronze medal in the Women’s Single Sculls—the first-ever Olympic medal for an Austrian female rower. We couldn’t have asked for better proof that our racing unisuits are built for speed from the get-go. The Lightweight Women’s Double Sculls crew of Louisa Altenhuber and Valentina Cavallar also put in a strong performance in Tokyo, proudly wearing EVUPRE.
The design paid homage to the host nation: the Austrian flag was reimagined in the style of Japanese origami, the word ‘Austria’ was written in Japanese Katakana characters, and the cuffs were adorned with a traditional Sashiko embroidery pattern.
2021 to 2024: More Than Just a Racing Suit
Following the successful Olympic project, we had the privilege of continuing to outfit the entire Austrian team—and no longer just for racing. Alongside the racing kit, we added a complete line of training gear as well as official team wear.
We took a bold approach with the design: vibrant colors, striking mountain silhouettes, and red-white-red leg cuffs. The risk paid off, as it was crowned the best-looking design at the World Cup in Lucerne.
Paris 2024: A Touch of Haute Couture
For the 2024 Olympic Games, we once again had the honor of outfitting the Austrian team, and we are incredibly proud of this particular design. Paris is the capital of fashion, so we drew our inspiration from classic French haute couture. The AUT logo echoes the legendary typography of Parisian fashion houses, while a rowing-specific monogram pattern adds a touch of luxury to the suit. For the color palette, we selected the white and red of the French Tricolore, which—luckily for us—double as the Austrian national colors.
Today: The Partnership Continues
To this day, we have the privilege of outfitting the Austrian national team, and we look forward to many more races and designs to come.
Slovenia: From Neighbor to Partner
2021 to 2024: Triglav on the Water
The fact that the Austrian team was turning heads in our gear didn’t go unnoticed by our neighbors, and soon enough, the Slovenian national team reached out to us. For Slovenia, we created a modern interpretation of Mount Triglav—the country’s highest peak and national symbol—rendered in the classic Slovenian sports colors of light blue, green, and white. The Slovenian squad also opted for the complete package, choosing everything from high-performance gear to our casual leisure collection.
Paris 2024: Precision to Specification
The Slovenian team also raced in EVUPRE at the Paris Olympics. For this event, the Slovenian Olympic Committee laid out strict design specifications. It was an exciting challenge for us, proving that even within clear parameters, a high-quality, thoughtfully crafted execution truly stands out.
Today: Still Together at the Starting Line
Our partnership with the Slovenian squad is still going strong, and we proudly remain their official outfitter today.
Welcoming Our New Partners: Hungary and Estonia
Hungary 2026: Vibrant and Modern
Recently, the Hungarian national team also reached out to us. Building on the corporate design guidelines of the Hungarian Rowing Federation, our design team created a vibrant, modern look that is guaranteed to stand out on the water.
Estonia 2026: Blue for the Coast
Also joining the EVUPRE team is the Estonian coastal rowing crew. For them, we designed a stunning kit in vibrant blue – a perfect match for a discipline where wind, waves, and the open sea set the tone.
